Hi! My name is Carlo! I have been a student here at Telford Music School for 7 years, during those years I have been learning to play a lot of fun pieces on the keyboard and I really enjoyed it! When I had my very first lesson at this school, I was quite nervous because I didn't know what to expect, however I was greeted by my wonderful teacher, Jayne. Jayne has been my teacher since the beginning of my keyboard life and she is honestly one of the most amazing people I have ever met, she has been really kind, helpful and always remains positive. Even when I turn up late or make lots of mistakes, she always keeps a smile on her face. She's also been super supportive and encouraging, especially during exams. I would tend to get really nervous about exams but I probably wouldn't have earned all the distinctions I got if it wasn't for her assistance and support. So thank you so much Jayne and Telford Music School! These 7 years have been amazing and I enjoyed every single moment of it.

I have been coming to Telford Music School for around four years now, learning to play the Keyboard. When I first came to the music school, I was ready to take my Grade 2 Keyboard exam as I had transferred from another music school. The music teachers at Telford Music School made me feel welcome when I first joined and they were able to teach me from where I was taught up to in the previous music school. I have now just passed my Grade 5 Keyboard exam.    I enjoy coming to Telford Music School as there is high quality teaching and the music teachers are really friendly and easy to talk to and get on with. I come from Whitchurch (Shropshire) which is a 40 minute drive to the music school, but because of the learning experience that I have at Telford Music School, it is well worth the journey and well worth the money that I spend. I would definitely recommend them.

My son Thomas has been attending TMS for keyboard lessons for over 3 years (since he was 6). In the last two years since Jayne has been running the school he has really excelled and has attained distinctions in the three exams taken so far.    I have been very impressed with the changes in the school, the increase in lessons offered, the influx of new teachers, the attendance of outside performances and concerts and the general décor and look of the school. I have no hesitation in recommending people to have lessons or send their children for lessons at Telford Music School, there is a high quality of teaching and the exam results of all the students speak for themselves. I certainly plan to be there to see Thomas achieve his Grade 8 !!!

My daughters have been attending Telford Music School for the past 4 years. Jayne and all the teachers are warm and welcoming and have worked well with them to bring our their confidence and potential.   Molly & Ellie have so far completed Grade 4 Musical Theatre both achieving Distinctions. Ellie has also completed Grade 3 Speech and Drama with Distinction. The girls have very much enjoyed being a part of TMS taking part in various workshops and performing at concerts, Christmas lights switch on in the square at Wellington and at the Princess Royal hospital.   TMS is like a big family, lessons are professional but great fun and work towards individual goals. I myself with no previous musical experience have this year challenged myself to learn the drums. I can honestly say I have found the experience so far very enjoyable and rewarding and will definitely be continuing for a while yet!  Our time spent here is time well spent. I would recommend TMS highly to anyone.

I have been having music lessons at the Telford Music School from the age of 6 years and I am now 15 years old. I have since completed my keyboard DipLCM with distinction and I am now working towards the ALCM with Jayne. I am also currently preparing for my DipLCM in piano under the tutelage of Anne.    I look forward to my music lessons with both Jayne and Anne, who are warm friendly and extremely supportive at all times, as are all the other teaching staff. Teachers bend backwards in this school to cater to every need of their students.    The music school organises concerts regularly, allowing one to develop confidence in their abilities and showmanship which is an integral part of being a musician.    Drama, singing and a variety of instruments are taught at the school and students range from primary school to adults.    I would without doubt recommend Telford Music School for the ethos and the environment that is so conducive to learning and to the development of one's musical abilities, or even if one chooses to play for leisure.
